Chains in the Sand — An Animated Short Film

We are proud to present the launch of our very first project, Chains in the Sand — a Neo Soul Noir animated short that marks the beginning of our movement: telling stories that echo across time, soul, and spirit.

Chains in the Sand brings to life the early story of Bilal Ibn Rabah — one of the first companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, a formerly enslaved man of Abyssinian heritage whose voice became the first to call the Adhan (call to prayer) in Islam. Known for his unshakable faith under torture, Bilal’s life embodies the triumph of the spirit over oppression.

In this reimagined tale, we follow young Bilal through both a physical and spiritual journey across the desert — his chains a symbol of the societal and internal burdens that seek to confine him, and the vast sands a metaphor for the path toward self-realization and divine connection. Through striking visuals and deeply human storytelling, we witness a journey not just of survival, but of awakening.

This film is a mirror for us all: What chains hold you? And what inner voice refuses to be silenced?
