Episode 23.5 : Man in the Mirror | RIP Kobe, RIP Mambacita | Luke Harrington Mary Lyons/Brighton | SUB 5 min barrier

Fresh off my first run of 2020. Sad to say it took me, until February to get my first run in the decade. I titled this episode the Man in the Mirror, because i didn't like what I saw in myself and after self reflection, I felt it was time to make a change. First start by being healthy and not making excuse on not being active, from coaching, Bay State Running, the blog/podcast never mind my husband duties I have been very busy. The passing of Kobe & Gigi Bryant has reminded me to continue to work hard and the sacrifices are going to lead to great things. Last but not least big salute to Luke Harrington member of the BPSXC @bpsxc_ and Brighton High Track and field for breaking the 5 mins barrier.

Episode 23: CHE "Cant Hate Excellence" | RIP #BlackMamba #MambaCita

Second installment of DATG Podcast in a new year, new decade. Unfortunately the untimely passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, has the world dropping #GirlDad Hashtags, people are using this tragedy to reflect and reconnect with love ones. Yesterday at Track Practice, for some reason, my Freshmen and I were discussing about life as usual. One of them brought up that everyone likes you "Coach H". I had to take a teachable moment, I had to explain to them that I appreciate them for the support and love, unfortunately this isn't true. I know its a small percentage but i had to address. CHE - Can't Hate Excellence
